Wise Words | When you are describing,
A shape, or sound, or tint;
Don't state the matter plainly,
But put it in a hint;
And learn to look at all things,
With a sort of mental squint.

| I don't know if any of you have read the Hunger Games series but it's rather good in terms of action and plot ^^ The wording is a little dull at points but most of the content is original and creative. Anyway I was wondering if they were planning to make a movie of the trilogy? xD Or rather, SHOULD they make a movie of the trilogy? O.o I mean after the Twilight and Inkheart disasters.... | |

| Personally, I think that unless the director is fantastic and sticks to the book as closely as possible, no book series should ever be made into a movie. | |

| I like it when directors go creative. Miyazaki's film edition of Howl's Moving Castle takes ideas from the book, but it's entirely unique. Did you NOT like the film when we watched in on the orchestra trip?
But Pride and Prejudice the 1995 TV serial did a FANTASTIC job portraying the characters and story accurately. | |

| Ok, Howl's Moving Castle was good, but I never had read the book. On the other hand, The Count of Monte Cristo film that we saw in English in 10th grade was awful compared to the book. | |

| I must agree on the Count of Monte Cristo film, but even if you read Howl's Moving Castle after having watched the film, you would think both are great in their own ways =) | |

| Yes, but once again that was with the whole "good director". Miyazaki did ok with Howl's Moving Castle, because he is a talented director; others, however, don't work very well. | |
