| Let's see if you're right, Shiny! ;D
My prognosis:
Brazil 3 - 1 Chile
Portugal 0 - 1 Spain
I wish Portugal wins, though. ^^

| Portugal lost 1-0 against Spain... It was coach's fault though. Even Cristiano Ronaldo, after the match, when asked about the loss, said "Ask Carlos Queirós!" We were clearly lacking midfield in this game and the coach didn't let Deco (centre midfielder) play. Why? Because he questioned coach's choices in that match against Cote D'Ivoire? C'mon, he apologized!!! And this is Deco's last world cup... And why the hell did coach replaced Hugo Almeida (striker) when he was having a good performance?! When asked about this, the coach said "He was too tired", but then Hugo Almeida said he wasn't tired at all! At least, in this game, he didn't put players playing in positions that they aren't used to... Like in the match against Cote D'Ivoire, when he put Deco playing in the lateral, while everyone knows Deco's position is in the middle and that's where he's really good at. Or in the match against Brazil, when he put Cristiano Ronaldo as striker instead of winger.
However, Portuguese team played well and the defense was very good!
Our goalkeeper Eduardo is just awesome, one of the best goalkeepers in the world! <3

| /was supporting England Yeah... after being humiliated like that, I finally think Capello should be leaving soon. Another bitterly disappointing World Cup from a team which should and could have done alot better. /sigh Great play from the Germans though, although the officials... I swear all the refs and linesmen in the World Cup are so bad... Every single one of them. The majority of red cards given, were harsh and probably not deserved and now with Lampard's disallowed goal and Tevez's 'onside' goal on the same day has finally convinced me that we may need video replays. But before that what the game needs is officials who can see... I was hoping England would get to the semis at least, but I should've known they would under perform... again. Predictions for the cup? Spain take it after narrowly beating Brazil. Argentina come in third. Another point about this World Cup, why oh why is it so surprising o.o All the big names are under-performing (excluding Argentina, possibly the Dutch and Portugese). France, and Italy got knocked out in the group stages - last World Cup finalists. Spain lost to Switzerland, Brazil JUST beat North Korea (105 Fifa rankings between them), England just failed miserably throughout the tournament, Germany whilst played great in 2 matches lost to Serbia... you see my point... Tbh i've found this World Cup fairly boring, whilst being unpredictable I just think the football being played isn't that great. Yet that hasn't stopped me watching the majority of the games... | |

Yes, did you see Kaka's red card? Not deserved... I reckon... almost as bad as when the Algerian Captain (don't know his name) got sent off, when they played the U.S.

| I've been hanging with a group of kids from South America, and this morning during the Argentina vs. Germany game, they were getting into it, even doing the wave. They also screamed at anyone who dared walk in front of the TV. It was kinda funny. | |

LOL. Germany's been winning big time. Recently, it seems like they've been scoring four goals per game. Klose is even on the road to beating Ronaldo's position as top scorer during a World Cup.

| So now it's either Uruguay or Germany for third place- to be determined Saturday. Sunday, Spain and the Netherlands are fighting for first. | |
